Mustad Equi-Librium

Equi-Librium for balance and break-over.

A sport horseshoe for performance horses that have to make fast turns.  The Equi-Librium is also suitable for horses suffering from distal limb overload or injury.

Key features include:  

• A definite left and right shape, the outside branch is slightly longer
• An extra wide toe area forged with a 2 dimensional convex curve allowing the horse to fluently breakover in any direction
• A perfectly balanced hoof created by matching the centre of mass of the shoe to the Centre of Pressure (CoP) during mid-stance.  
• Balanced concave section on the ground surface inside edge to reduce weight  
• No concave section or crease through the heels to improve support during landing and to provide a base for stud holes
• Broken edges, sole relief and flush clips
